SPA’s compliant frameworks can be used by local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies to procure works, products and services for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.
Frameworks are agreements that set out the specification, scope, quality, price and other requirements of building contracts. Suppliers compete through a competitive procurement procures to be appointed on to a framework. Publicly funded bodies access the suppliers that have successfully been awarded to the framework through their chosen ‘call off’ process in line with the framework terms.
