Further boost to Government's Single Open Call fund
A further £20 million of additional funding has been announced by the Scottish Government to accelerate its cladding remediation programme and extend support to social landlords.
This announcement brings much welcome news to social landlords as they will now be eligible for a share of the funding.
In March this year, the Single Open Call fund launched, allowing owners and residents to apply for Government-funded assessments to determine the work required to make buildings safe.
Following this announcement, throughout this financial year, there will be £20 million set aside for holistic single building assessments and a separate £10 million to tackle immediate mitigations for buildings most at risk.
