Fire Safety for Public Sector Homes and Buildings

6 Deer Park Avenue, Livingston EH54 8AF

In the past few months, we have introduced two new frameworks for fire safety and refurbishment of housing and buildings. Both frameworks are vital to ensuring public sector stock is compliant with current regulations and that the physical condition of the properties is up to the expected standard.

There is a vast array of requirements that are compulsory for asset managers and property owners to comply with and conduct based on building type and usage. Being versed in all aspects of the requirements given the recent and upcoming legislation changes surrounding fire safety can be tricky.

We are inviting all partners to join us at our Livingston office on 30th May from 9:00 until 3:00pm to explore the key aspects of keeping homes and buildings safe from fire. There will be a variety of workshops delivered by the companies appointed to our frameworks and key information will be shared on all aspects of fire safety including fire risk assessments, fire suppression, fire doors, active and passive fire measures. These presentations will provide more than a surface level view offering deep insight and knowledge on areas concerning legislation, solutions, processes and clarifying the compliance requirements.

Alongside this, there will also be a segment dedicated to the frameworks that have been launched recently to offer a broader understanding of the workstreams and what can be procured, regional breakdown and lotting structure and the process of using our solutions.

SPA offers partners an extensive range of services beyond the frameworks developed through it’s added value services programme. Our public sector partners have full and unlimited access to the services available free of charge. These services range from support calling off from a framework, running mini competitions, price verifications and specification guidance to assistance with identifying valuable community benefits.
